Design Concept

As a new addition to the neighbourhood, Newport Plaza combines BIOPHILIC DESIGN with steel, glass, and concrete to revitalize the area. This new iconic gateway will serve as a green lung for Anson Road, similar to an Urban Hill. By integrating nature and building into a healthy building ecosystem, the Cascading Garden aims to enhance the health and well-being of office workers and residents alike. The various components of the building each have their own communal areas created by carving multiple break-out areas such as stepping Roof Terraces, Sky Terraces and Sky Gardens at various levels so that one can easily observe plants and flowers. A biophilic concept was introduced to infuse greenery into the tower and podium in order to bring nature back into the concrete jungle.
